Step-by-step participant guide for youth: Digital Mapping Project
As of December 2025, we have closed recruitment for the digital mapping project. We are busy analysing our data from 100 youth participants! Keep an eye out on our website or social media for updates on what we learn in coming months!
1) Sign up here to learn more and participate
2) Connect with our project coordinator (Carlie McPhee, she/they) to make sure you are eligible to participate and schedule the interview.
Eligibility includes:
youth (any gender) ages 15-29 years
currently live in Canada
can have a conversation in English or French
3) If you are interested to participate, we will email you a copy of the consent form so you can read over in advance
4) The interview will be a confidential 60-90 minute interview (either in person or on Zoom) by a youth co-researcher
5) You will receive a $50 honoraria for your time and expertise for the interview. The payment will be sent as an e-transfer to your email (or cash, if you do the interview in person)
6) If interested, you can review a written copy of your interview (transcript) and the knowledge mobilization products (story boards, videos, visuals) that the youth co-researchers will create from the project results to share back with service providers, policy makers, youth, and the general public.
